No, Solar Insure is a fintech company. Solar Insure provides limited warranties that are backed by a global insurance provider. The backing provided is default coverage against the manufacturers of solar. Limited warranties are governed by federal Magnuson-Moss laws and regulated by the FTC.
The SI-30 Warranty includes coverage for resealing and reflashing within 3" surrounding the roof penetrations for your solar energy system. Other types of roof damage are not included under Solar Insure’s SI-30 Warranties. In those cases, we recommend reaching out directly to your solar installation company or your homeowner’s insurance provider.
